Frankly my home in Hong Kong never had a VHS nor VCD nor DVD machine. Possibly when my computer has cdrom, I started to watch a lot of movies. Thereafter, I watch a lot of movie. I guess I have at least 500 movie titles at home right now. Mainly English titles. The peak time was that I watch 8 movie in one single day sitting in front of the PC, and be honesty I did not go to cinema often except with my girl friend. If she did not go, there is no incentive for me to visit a cinema. Right now there is no more room at home to store those DVD & VCD, and those I brought at HVM have to stored in my little apartment in Dongguan now.

I collected some Hong Kong cinema and theater tickers and they are still in my drawer. I guess most of those cinema and theater are gone for a long time. They may become new kinda shopping mall or renovated to become small cinema. The Lee Theater High Class on the third level was one of best experience. You can view the deco and art of the roof.  There were three classes at the Old Lee Theater at Causeway Bay.

For years, the Kong Kong Film Festival is one of my favorite. When I was in high school the student tickets maybe just HK$$13-HK$14, and I can watch some sort of lesser known or unknown movie. The first movie I watched  with my girl friend Possibly in 1989 was at City Hall during the Hong Kong Film Festival.

Don't know why I like to watch French movie. Although I cannot comprehends French (I did studied French in UHH for over one year, but I screwed it up) I have watched quite a number of it. The Red, White, Blue (Rouge, Blonde, Bleu) were one of the favor. Perhaps I like one of the Actress Juliette Binoche in Blue(Bleu). She has a kinda of charm I liked most. Her act in English Patient is another one I loved

Currently the good old day Shaw Brother movie come to stores on VCD/DVD and the collection is a good one which I would watch some of them. Although I did not watch them during kid time, I guess quite a lot of them are good to watch with quality compare to nowadays "KongMadeMoive".
