GWcom Inc., which was once BYAIR and it is now MTONE. Right now MTONE business are mainly in China. I joined this company in 2000. Dominic was the main reason I joined this company. He was with this company for a while before I join. The company founder and CEO - Dr. Wang, may be a kinda "legend" to manage the company with such amont of money in the China Mobile valued added service market. Luckily the company is still there and running. | ||||
| The reason I left Hong Kong Economic Times was to start a business with 12 other friends. Those 12 friends including some old classmate and D&S colleagues. We started Pacific Marketing (HK) Limited which is still a continues legal entity which I did not own anything anymore. We had involved in recruitment service or in a nice word "Head Hunting" called United Personal Agency, import of skin care product "Planta Pura" & "Diakon" from Italy, Hong Kong Exporter web site business which was kinda boom during year 1999. You cannot image that we even involved in publishing a few JUNK book. Too bad business was not good during the time I was there and we move on to advance our career. Alex is the one left in the 13 people venture, and he keep on his vision on recruitment and now it is his successful firm - Human Sources. |

I was once with the media business. Working with the in house start up of Hong Kong Economic Times - Career Time. You cannot image how to complete with giant SCMP classified or Recruit during those gone old days. I did not want to talk about those details at this cyber space. Anyway it was fun, it was politics, it was somehow a nightmare for some of my buddies at HKET. I am glad that my interview was with the publisher Mr. Perry Mak. | ||||
| D&S Publishing Company was my ever first career after graduated from UHH. This company was started by Dominic who may be in Beijing at this moment. He started D&S but with fierce competition and proactive action from major competitor such as SCMP & Recruit, he finally sold the D&S Classified to Hong Kong Economic Times in 1997. So I was sold to Hong Kong Economic Times as well. Buddies of D&S are still keep contacting each other and we occasionally come out for dinner. | |||||
